Using Hevea brasiliensis as a reference, 5,059 genes from 21 rubber biosynthesis gene families across 53 Asteraceae species and 6 outgroups have been identified. Users can determine the gene family to which a sequence belongs by performing a BLAST match. Alternatively, by selecting a gene family of interest—such as CPT or REF—the webpage will display all members of that gene family across all Asteraceae plants.
