Gene duplication classification analysis

This page is used to query precomputed gene duplication annotations in AGRP. You can enter one or more gene IDs directly, or paste a protein sequence to identify the best-matching gene in the selected genome. The matched genes are then returned with their duplication type based on DupGen_finder annotations.

  • WGD: Whole genome duplication
  • TD: Tandem duplication (two adjacent duplication genes)
  • PD: Proximal duplications (repeated genes within 10 genes apart)
  • TRD: Transposed duplications (duplicated genes consisting of ancestral and new loci)
  • DSD: Dispersed duplications (duplicated genes that are neither adjacent nor collinear)

The results table reports matched genes from the selected genome and their duplication categories, rather than running a new whole-genome classification on uploaded annotation files.
