Asteraceae Genomic Research Platform
Metabolomics, a subset of systems biology, is crucial for unraveling the complex metabolic pathways of Asteraceae family. Using the NPASS (https://bidd.group/NPASS/index.php) and GNDC (http://www.gndc.org.cn/) databases, metabolome data from 1,500 Asteraceae plants were obtained, and candidate 257,590 enzyme genes associated with 17,541 metabolites were screened. Specifically, we obtained a total of 1,800 metabolites through broad-spectrum detection of the roots, rhizomes, flowers, and leaves of S. canadensis. This simplifies researchers' exploration of metabolite synthesis genes, facilitating in-depth investigation into the metabolomic characteristics of Asteraceae.
